    ukpunk explained it! I feel like Vivienne Westwood did some great things for rejuvenating design in the fashion industry, but as ukpunk said she&#039;s constantly talking about her roots as a &#039;punk pioneer&#039; which I also think is questionable. Gwen Stefani has a hard on for Vivienne Westwood.

    first i thought this website was ok, then i realised that its all FUCKING SHIT. You, that made this website, you aint even real punk, cos if you were you woudn&#039;t be making this website in the first place.Punk is all about being orignal, being yourself,unique. If you wanna tell people how to be punk then thats totally against the whole idea of punk.Cos punk isn&#039;t just about what clothes you wear or what you listen to, its about who you are as an individual.You cant tell someone how to be punk, cos that aint punk.

    Vivienne Westwood was the co owner of the shop SEX and part time lover of Malcolm McLaren, the guy who made the sex pistols. She made the designs which the pistols modelled for her, they were a band designed by McLaren to sell clothes! Isnt that interesting? She is credited with starting a lot of punk fashion, what she actually did was saw what was going on and stuck a 80% markup on the price. These days she is just another designer, albeit one that twats on about her &#039;roots&#039; all the time. Thats about it. Personally, I think she&#039;s rubbish.
