I have friends who were truly from the punk scene 30 around years ago and they have to be the best source of what the hell punk is because they were there when the whole thing started and actually went to Ramones and Clash concerts BEFORE they died along with the scene. Basically now the "punk" we have now is like trying to re-live a already dead scene aka punk just to look cool. Hey man, try coming up with your own style and stop telling other people the only way to look cool is to be copy cats of your idea of punk fashion. Try promoting originality. By the way cussing and slurring down this comment isn't going to make you right. There is people who agree 100% to this, aswell a majority of the people think you are a "poser" trying to look cool and be cool even though you not. And also rebelling against the government for no reason is stupid. Unless you intend on being constructive and helping this government to be better and more ethical, If you really hate the system that much than leave the USA.

you have friends? that seems like a stretch. think about it this way: if i did what you said i should and started promoting originality, i would just be conforming to what you want. thats not original. the idea of telling people how to be punk who are too stupid to figure it out themselves IS original, because nobody else is doing it.

think we are??? a bunch of dumb ass kids that wear patches on our clothes to look cool? well we are not. punk is not a trend or a type of music. it is a life style in which you have to live by every single sec of a day. Our music is not just music, It is our
thoughts of authority and our freedom written down as lyrics to a song. Our fucked up clothes and shoes are not a style, they are a symbol of how the government has fucked us over and taken our freedom of speech, and thought. We cause anarchy and chaos cause its the only way to get through to people these days. For god sake, you dont even know who Sid Vicious is, or Johnny Rotten. It's kids like you, that make Punk seem dead to some people. Do you even know when punk started or where it came from?? Being a punk from Germany this website makes me and other german punks sick.
